First Run of AMPPS

  • When you run AMPPS for the first time make sure your Internet connection is active.

Note: AMPPS doesn't support proxy yet. So you must have a Direct Internet Connection.

  • Now open path/to/Ampps/Ampps.exe, this will take some time as it is setting up AMPPS for your Windows.
  • Just to verify whether first run was successful,

Check for the file install.php in path/to/Ampps/ampps/softaculous/enduser folder, in most cases it has already been executed.

  • If the file install.php is present run the following command,
"path/to/Ampps/php/bin/php" -c "path/to/Ampps/php/etc/php.ini" "path/to/Ampps/ampps/softaculous/enduser/install.php"

Note : If the file install.php is not present that means the First Run was successful.

  • If it was unable to execute the command due to some reason, please open a ticket at Support
